PAL-V — Emergency Response
PAL-V Liberty Emergency Response
- 3D Visualisation and Animation -
The next step in positioning the Liberty
With the PAL-V Liberty, PAL-V has been developing a vehicle that combines driving and flying for many years. As its market launch draws ever closer, the focus of its communications is shifting.
While the Liberty was initially positioned primarily for private individuals and business travellers, PAL-V is increasingly focusing on professional applications. These include emergency services, security organisations and situations where speed, accessibility and flexibility are particularly important.
To support this development visually, PAL-V asked Axes to update the Liberty’s existing unfolding animation with a new Emergency Response version.
A new livery
As a starting point for the new livery, PAL-V specified a dark blue base colour combined with accents and striping.
Following this direction, we designed the required decals and graphic elements and projected them directly onto the 3D model. This approach allows details to be quickly adjusted, refined and reviewed together throughout the process.
The result was a look suited to professional emergency and security services, without compromising the distinctive character of the PAL-V Liberty.
New renders and animation
Once the new livery had been approved, we re-rendered the entire unfolding animation against a white background.
We also delivered a series of high-quality stills from the animation. PAL-V can use these images for presentations, marketing materials, publications and other communications.
From visualisation to storytelling
The Emergency Response version we developed went beyond standalone renders and animations. The images form an important part of the Liberty’s online presentation for professional applications.
On PAL-V’s website, the Liberty is positioned as a FlyDrive platform that enables emergency services, security organisations and other professionals to reach locations more quickly and effectively. The emphasis is on operational mobility, flexibility and deployment in situations where time is critical.
Our visualisations support this form of storytelling by not only showing the technology, but also placing it directly within a recognisable context of use. This gives visitors a much clearer picture of how the Liberty can be deployed on emergency response, inspection and security missions.
From product to application
For innovative products, communication is not just about what a product is, but above all about what it makes possible.
3D visualisation can bring new applications and target audiences convincingly to life early in the development process. In this project, the new Emergency Response livery helped give an existing visualisation a new context and meaning.
A great example of how 3D content can evolve alongside a product’s development and positioning.
